Tube Pie
Is there a better, more satisfying pie? Once you replace pumpkin and apple with Meat Tube®, you’ll know the answer!
- 3 1/2 cups ground Meat Tube®
- 1 pie crust
- cranberries
- crushed butter crackers
- 3 tablespoons turnip hearts
- 1 1/2 cup mayonase
Start with filling your pie crust with the above ingredients. Take care not to add too much mayo too quickly. Make sure Meat Tube® is completely covered by all other ingredients. Bring the filled pie to a stand still and keep it there for 15 minutes. After this, put a lid on the top of the pie and bake for 45 minutes at 400 degrees.
Fruit ‘n’ Tube Treats
This recipe takes the best of a piece of toast and Meat the best of our Meaty friend, Meat Tube®
- 6 full sized Meat Tubes®
- 2 16 oz cans of pineapple rings in syrup
- fish fry batter
- canola oil
- turnip root
- 3 eggs
- 1 8 oz can cream of mushroom soup
First Pan fry the 6 full sized Meat Tubes®. Then add the syrup from the pineapple ring cans. Boil the Meat Tubes® until a fine caramelized layer forms. Take the resulting candied Meat Tubes® and bake them with the 3 eggs and remaining ingredients in an oven for 1 hour at 375 degrees. Serve HOT.
